Thanks to Henry Hipps and the awesome website, I can tell from the many favourable comments that I missed an event filled with wholesome memories and the opportunity to see so many of you and recall 50 years.

It is amazing that as one gets older it becomes necessary to write things down and keep an accurate schedule of events which will allow one not to have conflicts and schedule two events for the same time in two different locations. As Margaret (Belton) would say: "Only Acy 2 Suber would do such a thing!" And she would be 100% correct. Even at this age, I find it impossible to be two places at the same time.

Please forgive me for such a mistake and I pray I will see all of you in two years.

Acy Suber,Jr

Happy New Year to all my dearest classmates!  My apology for failing to try harder to get into the system...computer and password problems.  Better late than never...Want to tell the committee that their hard work in planning the reunion did not go unnotice. To my classmates...it was exciting and great to see you again. Looking forward to our next time together. Lula, I've lost your number. Please call when you have a few minutes.  God's blessings to all of you.  Maxine  Robinson Cunningham

 Classmates,

I enjoyed spending time with you this past weekend. I am sorry that I was unable to attend the picnic on Saturday, but heard you had a lot of fun. It was really great to see some of you I had not seen in over 50 years. (Some of us have changed a lot. Time does bring on change, doesn't it?!!πŸ˜€.)  Kudos to the reunion committee.πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ  You did a great job.   Thanks to all of you who worked to make it a success.  We should continue to get together regularly. Why? Perhaps Pat Bogan Richardson's last  post says it best. Take care hornets!!! ❀️

I would first like to wish a speedy and full recovery to Benjamin Spry.  We have really been missing him at our activities.

Secondly, l would like to congratulate Attorney Barbara Bouknight on her great accomplishments and her recent appointment as chairman of the Paine College Board of Trustees.  She will be a tremndous asset to Paine College.  She always treaded lightly and walked softly but carried a big stick!  Hats off to you, classmate.

Thirdly, I hope Lizzie Coleman Edmonds is doing better!

Lastly, I hope all others are doing well.  Those with birthdays, "Happy Birthday."

Love you all,

Lula

Hey, classmates.  I hope all are well and have had many blessings bestowed upon you.  It seems that every time I open the web site, I am in store for a real treat.  My hat goes off to Curtis March.  I lost track of you when we graduated.  I am so happy you were successful at playing ball at St. Augustine and that you were even more successful in your teaching and coaching careers.

At the gatherings that we have, we don't get a chance to communicate with every one.  There are so many wonderful things that have happened to our class mates that we just can't imagine.  May be we just need to have a gathering where the spotlight is on every body, a speaker is not needed; just let every one have their 15 minutes of fame to just tell what has transpired over the years.  There are so many things we just don't know about each other that others would love to hear.  We tend to hear about some of us but not about all.  I'm just saying.

I am glad to know that Ben is doing well.  I hope to visit him in Health South soon,  Robert Goddard and any other sick classmates, let us hear from you.  I was glad to see Raiford Richardson at the last meeting.  God is so good.

John Wilson, you are blessed to still have your mom at 107 who is still able to move around gracefully and cast her vote.  God bless all of you who still have your mother; Narda included.

I am really in awe when another classmate is tagged.  I see Sylvia regularly but I learn something new everyday.  She is a real go getter and can move on the dance floor, too.  She has had an awesome career and to say that she has been her own boss every since she was 20 years old is a great accomplishment.  To not having to deal with someone standing over you to make sure things are done properly says a lot.  Not every one can do or say that.  To God be the glory.  I am proud of her, too!!!!!

Some times our fingers don't always follow instructions from the mind.  Fingers may move faster or sometimes slower than what they are being trasmitted.  In my previous coments on Margaret and Henry, I failed to place the d at the end of imagine.  It should have stated could we have imagined (oops!!).
